Taxi is an American movie series that originally aired on NBC.
A taxicab, also called taxi or cab (black cab in London), is a type of vehicle aftern licensed by local authorities for hire with a driver or a chauffeur.
It is used by a single passenger or small group of passengers (up to 8), often for a non-shared ride vs bus or a coach- shared rides.
Taxis can be hailed on streets. I New York you can whistle and shout ‘taxi’ in London, United Kingdom waving your hand is usually enough. It can be really hard to catch a taxi on streets of London when it rains, due to high demand and small number of taxis cruising through town.

Getting cheap or at least resonable priced taxi insurance is nearly impossible these days.
